The house is much more organized compared to day 1 :)

A: Painting and cleaning up the house- 3 rooms to go!

A: Unpack all the furniture.

Q: Cooking?

A: Simple one- Steamboat!

Q: Photos?

A: No time.

A total mess

The house is (in) a total mess...

We're busy painting and cleaning..

I don't think 4-days off will be enough for me to clean the mess! :)

(even though I knew how tired it was, still I enjoy it a lot- because this will be my home in Perth at the time being)

Besides, we have not unpack the furniture- they are still nicely packed in bedroom3 

Right now, I'm waiting for the 'guru' to fix the brick-paving outside!

Finally, he is here as I'm heading to work in 2hours time.

I did have some photos to share- taken on last Friday!

We are now waiting for the carpet to be installed on next Monday. If not mistaken, house inspection should be carried out next week as well. We should be getting the keys the following week! ;)

On the other hand, Laura (my future neighbor) will be getting her key next week and move in. So, we are going to meet up on next Friday to discuss about the fencing. Finger crossed that this  will be the most inexpensive one (according to Laura-she had 5 quotes with her)

We visited the house on Sunday and very luckily, we met up with someone from the cleaning company came to clean up the house and we realized that the carpet was installed already!

Yipee, we should have our inspection next week and handover on the following week...>,<

It is about 3°C out there. Luckily, I'm not working today! >,<

Will be staying @ home all day but I do have something going on

- cooking: Mince and veg porridge with fried fish

- follow up with builder

- watching series

- laundry

According to weather forecast, Perth is about 3-16°C for this entire week. 

My husband used to park his car outside (no garage @ this rented property)

Yesterday, there were a thin layer of ice all around his car!

He then had to pour the boiled water on the glass..

Ca you imagine how cold it was?

"Unstoppable Grandmother Story"

I'm all alone in this cold and chilling night! 

Keng visited his friend and the couples were not around too..

I don't mind staying at home alone because I'm able to blast my speaker to the 'max' again

Oh GOSH, my house had finally came to the last 3 steps. They started the construction in late Feb and completed in mid July. It took just 5-months for completion. It's unbelievable, right? Someone might be thinking of the stability of the house? Honestly, I have no idea at all- will need to monitor and let you know later.

Furthermore, I'm kinda impressed of the process of the construction- Did I mention earlier? I guess not! Only ONE worker for each of the step along the construction!

Just to share with you that this is hydrangea 绣球花 in Chinese

and this is bougainvillea 九重葛 in Chinese

  

I'm thinking of planting mandarin, apple, grapes, vegetables and etc but not sure whether I'm capable enough!

I remembered during the days in Malaysia, I did have a cherry tomato plant and orchid before and I named my orchid as 'Demi' because I'm huge fans of Demi Moore at that time. Guess what, I still have the orchid kept in my prayer book.  That's the reason, I'm kinda proud of myself. :)

 How are you doing out there?

I'm kinda busy as I'm back to queue(no more own sweet time)

Besides, there are lots of changes that I'm still coping with now!

I just dislike taking calls after being in complaint team. :(

BTW, I have taken 4-days off during the period of moving house but won't be taking additional leave for painting but hubby will! To be honest, both of us can't wait to move it already. Handover should be in mid July (* progressing according to plan) I'm saying YES.YES.YES loud and clear -Welcome to visit me at anytime.

Supposedly this should be posted yesterday....

Anyhow today1/7/2011,  I'm extremely happy because I'll be refunded from Australian Tax Office soon. I had estimated that the amount is much more higher compared to last year!

Since today is Friday, any plans? I do have some plan for myself tomorrow:

- work for 5 hours (7.15-12.15pm)

- lunch with friend @ Sizzler

Going to have a nap now Zzzz
