Then, I told him I'm looking for a new watch

Luck in on my side, watch is on SALES(up to 50%)

As for him, he is looking for a pair of shoe

Today, I received another commendation from a customer.

Normally, the customer will get the TL (supervisor) on call for appreciation

However, this customer wrote a letter to our CEO for appreciation.

Therefore, it's really special and meant a lot to me

Xmas

We just had our XMAS lunch a week ago and Santa Secret present (exchanging gift among my team). I received a pac of choc,in the meantime I'm giving away a necklace.

Though XMAS is soon approaching, unfortunately I have to work on that day! On the other day, I did get my scheduler to approve my short break in between 26~28 Dec- Plan to have a farmstay or B&B! *26 Dec is Boxing Day (also a PH in Aus)

How are you celebrating your Xmas then?

P/S: I'll meeting YOU in SP in 3 weeks time.

Summer or Spring??

This summer is a bit strange! Why said so?

I don't feel hot at all...

or I would say that we're still enjoying  the spring!

Normally at this time, I could feel the HEAT..

Anyway, can't bother much...

because I can't wait to go back to Malaysia.

Call Quality

Have you heard of this -"Your call will be recorded for quality and coaching purposes." when you trying to reach any call center for assistance?

Nowadays, I could hear my own calls (they just had their system upgraded!) and hope that one day I could share them with you. I personally have no comments with the new system- as long as I did what I 'm supposed to do, then there is nothing much to be scared of! :)

Am I right?

My job scope

Since,I have not been blogging for quiet sometime- Perhaps, let me reveal a little bit more about my job scope. When I first joined the organization, we're trained to support ADSL, Cable and Wireless broadband. However, nowadays all the calls were being transferred to Philippines. 

At this stage, we're only supporting the following item...

Just let me briefly explain to you what is exactly the 2 of them.

T-Box is a Internet and TV experience- A set top box give you access to FTA TV channel and connect to Bigpond service (BPTV, BP Video, BP Movie) as well as connecting to Youtube. While a T-Hub is more than just a phone- A touch screen where you could connect to Internet easily with just a click.

Hei all, how are you doing lately? Me? I'm off today and will be working on Sat till next Monday.

This was my second weeks in Thornlie! Everything is smooth sailing at this stage- the most inconvenience thing was, there is no BUS after 7pm. My husband had to pick me at the train station all the time if I'm working late. Later on, we will be visiting Heidi Hunter (our settlement agent) to hand-in the bank-cheque for her. Once the documents being sorted out, we should be able to start  the construction! Frankly speaking, I'm eagerly waiting for the construction.

Yesterday, My TL had a ride on with me (listening to my call). Dione was on a long leave, so Matt  is taking over her job. He's a really young chap (he's a year younger than my sis in Singapore). The first two call were really a satisfactory to me and him. However, my third call  was a DISASTER! The customer was so argumentative. He wanted to speak to my TL (Matt was there too!) and finally, Matt took over the call. If Matt was not around with me at that time, definitely I won't be letting him to speak to my TL. Don't worry about me, that my working life now. You might be getting a compliment on the first call. However, later on you might need to get your TL to be involved! :(

Ya..ya! Another 2 months time, I'll be flying back to Malaysia! (Unknowingly, I had been in Perth for more than a year. Time really flies like an arrow.) My sis knew that I'm going back soon, she had a list of perfume to order..... (I still owe her an IPOD)

What I really want? You can't believe that! First and foremost, I wanna go to "er-jie" to order a table of food and taste them in just a-day! [Listen to me, yup in "JUST A-DAY" as we don't have much time in SP) That's my plan with my husband. Come and join us if you're free. Secondly, we'll be staying in Penang for some shopping and of course Penang food. >.< Besides that, I wanna get some new gadget for my camera- a tripod, micro lenses and a few SD cards. Any idea where should I go for it?

Before blogging, my head comes with a lot of stuffs to "utter" here! Now, it seem to be a blank paper to me....Hahah. I might have to stop here.

Our First Night

Today, I'm going to have curry chicken,stir fried vegetables and tortilla wrap for dinner.

Today only I found out that there were someone who smoke in the house..

(the house/room that I'm going to move)

[No offense to those who smokes]

I'm just sensitive/allergic to that.

How am I going to stand for 6-8months?

I can't even stand for a day, man!

I contacted the owner about the it

And the owner told me that they are not supposed to smoke in the house.

Frankly speaking, I wish to stay there as there is no string attached (no contract) and it's really convenience for me to work in city too.

Oh GOD, What should I do?

I might be looking for a new place....

Busy Week

This week I'm gonna busy like HELL...

- Moving to a new place soon

- Have to wash our own cloth without the washing machine for a week!

- Doing the cooking job!

- No Internet connection for a month! (I bet so!)

Changes: P2

At last, we found our new "nest" !

We'll be moving to Thornlie - another suburb in Perth. It's about 5mins walk to the train station and 5mins drive to IGA Supermarket. Since I'm not working today, I decided to just check out the places with my husband and will be meeting the landlord this coming Sunday!  Frankly speaking, we can't complaint much about it anymore since we're just renting a room....Besides, that's just a temporary "nest" to us while awaiting the new house to be built. Furthermore, we're paying 150/week including water and electricity.

FYI, there are total of 5 rooms and 3 had been occupied by the landlord themselves and 2 will be leased... Husband and I will be taking one of the rooms while the other room will be taken by hubby's colleague (cum friend from Malaysia) but he has not decide yet!

Anyway, we'll be moving to the new place on the 22nd Oct 2010...

Changes

OMG!

Michael and family are soon moving to their new premises and supposedly there will be another guy from Malaysia is taking over this house and we thought that we're going to continue to have the same room until my new house is ready.

Now, the guy is not coming to Perth at this moment due to unpredictable circumstances. Therefore, we have to move out from this rented house. In 3 weeks time, we have to look for a new place. :( We decided to rent a room instead of a house! That's what we're looking for at the moment, somewhere near to train station or bus station.....(because of me again!)

Sometimes, things do change! It happened  and we can't say much about it......

Yesterday, I managed to finish Grey's Anatomy S1 (It's more likely about life of the intern in hospital)

Now, I'm moving on to S2 (27 episodes)

At this stage, there are total of 7 seasons

Tomorrow, I'm going back to work as usual.

Recently, I put an order for 2 wallets through Braun Buffel online store.  FYI, this was my first time getting such an expensive wallet for my husband and myself. :)

My working life!

I'm no longer in Double Dragon. (* Reshuffle of all the teams under Mr.Liam South-the Centre Manager)

Now, I'm in a new team known as Metal Gear and my superior is an Aussie lady named Dionne. She is absolutely a superb superior ~ patiently guiding me all the time! :) Thank you very much for your patience. I really appreciate that!

Frankly speaking, I have no drama helping the customers performing any troubleshooting. However, I do have an issue if customer kept asking WHY? WHY? WHY?, started raising their voice and yelled on the phone, I'm panic and really have no idea what to do next! Sometimes, I felt like I'm not  competence  enough to handle those difficult customers. Of course, I knew that PRACTICE MAKE PERFECT. I never gave up~ attempting my utmost effort to fix this up. [I understood their frustration, they paid for the service ~ definitely, they want the service to be working.]

 

Though I'm not a good speaker/communicator, I'm kinda satisfy with myself! :)

A sumptuous dinner

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant ever since YH's BIL mentioned that to me....

Finally, I had this dinner on 18 Sept 2010. Supposedly, my husband had promised to bring me to the restaurant two weeks ago but due to unpredictable circumstances, we didn't make it. Anyhow, I made it at last. :)

As I'm working today, so we reached there about 5.45pm. Guess what? You can't imagine that, lots of people has been queuing outside for their turn. Luck is on my side, we just waited for about 10-15 minutes only.   Anyway, we just ordered two dishes - Fettuccine and Grilled chicken with salads. 

I have no complaint about the food. Besides, this was my first visit to Italian restaurant in Perth.

Before leaving, I ordered a tiramisu for takeaway.

Pre-Start Metting

How are you today?

It's freezing cold outside (I wish I could stay under my blanket continue Zzzzz)

However, we had our Pre-Start Meeting this morning at 9am ~11am.

The main purpose of this meeting is to discuss and made the final amendment to the non-structural design of the house. We did have some minor changes to our new house, e.g:

a) Change the paving color from Grey and Golden Dune to Sandstone

b) Add additional ceiling light and paving to side elevation of the house (laundry area)

c) Change the steel posts in Porch/Alfresco to brick piers (Hamelin)

d) Window treatment added

e) Extend tiling in kitchen area - That cost us the MOST!

After the meeting, we had Korean food for our brunch. We thought of visiting the furniture shop. Who knows? I'm so sleepy after the meals. Therefore, we decided to go home straightway.

That's my day for today....

a) Hubby had to take an off today but I'm damn lucky as I got an off today without getting anyone to swap shift.

Last minutes

While I was watching Beauty Knows No Pain "女人最痛", I received a call whether to work overtime or not and without any hesitation, I said YES. My husband then drove me to work. Anyway, they scheduled an 8-hour shift however I told them I would only work for 5 hours. ;) 

This coming Friday, we are going to attend a color meeting for my new house with  the assistance of  an interior consultant. The main purpose of this meeting is to choose wet area floor and wall  tiling, laminates for our cupboards and bench-tops, bricks and/or render color, roof cover color, paves,carpets, blinds and main area floor tiling.

My friend will be in Perth this Friday morning too! Hope that they will enjoy the arrangement by her BIL. * Yin Hsiang, call me and let me know which hotel you'll be staying in. I'm off duty on Sat and Sunday.

Finally, I received an extension for my financial deadline-We're still waiting for the financial institution for the approval of our house loan! By normal procedure, the house loan will be approved before the financial deadline (in 45~ 60days). Because of me loh! Heizzzz..... Anyway, thank to LJ Hooker Thornlie ~ John, Sumit (our home builder sales consultant) and James (mortgage broker) for their helping hand!, or else I'm really not sure what I'm going to do. Definitely, I'm going to write them commendation too!

God blessed! Anyhow, the buyer finally signed it for me and has been extended to 19 Aug 2010. Now I'm hoping that loan will be approved in these few days time...

* I will further explain the system of buying a land and building a house in my next blog!

偷偷告诉你..

a) I'm so excited and yet so happy because I received a commendation from a customer yesterday. Frankly speaking, I almost cried on the phone (tears of joy of course!)

b) Last 2 days, when I was waiting for my husband at the train station, I saw this fellow purposely dropped his pant showing his orange undies(the two "pao") to the public! GOSH...

c) I have re-scheduled my flight to Malaysia ~ Supposedly, we'll be staying in Malaysia for a month.  Unfortunately, due to unpredictable circumstances, we'll be in Malaysia for two weeks only! :(

d) I'm OFF today but will be working on Friday and Saturday!

e) I have salary increment and waiting for my claim from the Tax Office!

f) I should be hearing good news from the Keystart!

How are you doing today? Since today is Sunday and thought of updating a little bit of myself in my blog!

Finally, I'm fully recovered from coughing and running nose!

FIGHTING..FIGHTING..FIGHTING!

Regarding my home- loan approval, the documents were submitted to the financial institution. At first, we thought of submitting them in mid of June and I didn't realize that I haven't been in this position for 6 months yet until my broker told me about that. Therefore,we're only able to submit them in mid of July ~that will be my 6 months in this current position. FYI, the first and foremost requirement applying for loan (especially the one I applied ~ Keystart) is to be in your current position for 6 months. In a week or two, I should know the outcome....

Today, my husband and I visited a secondhand market in Maddington ~ it an opened-air market and the admission is AUD1/each. FYI, the land we bought was in Maddington and it will be my new "地头"  in near future. The market commenced at 6am to 11am. Both of us just  thought of doing "window shopping". Who knows? I can't stop myself from shopping. I bought a jumper, a set of  6 miniature wine glasses and 2-miniature oil lamps. The wine glasses and oil lamps will be part of the decorative display in the new house. Should I show you now? I supposed not now. So sorry,ya! Let's make them more secretive ~ will show you when the time comes!

Besides, I'm going to move my blog to my own domain later on! ;)

I'm going back!

I thought of sharing this news 2 months before leaving Perth. However, I can't wait any longer to spread the news.....  I'm going back in 7 months time. Though it's still far away, I'm anxiously waiting for the day to come!

We'll be visiting Singapore before returning to SP. We had booked the ticket in Jan 2010. Therefore, I'm so sorry that I'm not able to attend your wedding (you should know who you're)

Anyway, we'll be staying in Malaysia for a month and will be returning to Perth on the second day of CNY.  Most probably, I'll be staying at home with my mum and sis, enjoying mum's home-cooked food! :)

I started joining Espirit Club since I'm in Australia and this is my second time receiving the e-voucher. With the voucher, I 'm able to get another 2 brand new tees! :)

Signing up is absolutely free! FYI, I received emails on the updated news and I found that they are on sales all the time. Therefore, it's really worth  to buy one or two. (especially around June!)

Just wondering how's your day going on? 

Me? I'm just back from home an hour ago. Anyway, it was such an easy day for me on the phone- not much of trouble. However, when I stepped out from the office, the weather was extremely cold and I have to put on my gloves and scarf. 

Ya, is winter right now in Australia ~ about 5-10 in the morning/at night and 12-20 in the afternoon. Now is the time where you could see ppl're wearing boots and overcoat walking on the street. (They look so smart with that!) 

Normally during winter, we'll have our electrical blanket on while we're sleeping (to keep our body warm) as well as the quilt (made of wool) on us instead of using the comforter. You could wear flannelette* pjyamas at night and it's really comfortable. Hahah, I got my mum to sew and posted the pjyamas to me. (Flannelette is acutally a light, napped cotton the texture of flannel). This is the time to have steamboat at home with some wine! (Enjoying rite? You could have it too- Just come to us and join the fun!)

A few days ago, I met this NUTS on the street, dropping his pants. Of course, I just walked away without bothering him! 

After the incident, I told Angie about that and guess what. She exclaimed that he wanted me to make a comparison! HAHHAHA>>> Do I make you laugh? If so, I'm happy about that.
