Planning stage

Hurray, just a month to go!

We were informed that handover will be in mid of July and we'll then carry out:
- Internal painting
- Crossover
- Landscaping

On 28 July 2011, we'll officially be moving to the  house. Even though we're now in western country, we'll still be following certain tradition- just to make sure everything smooth sailing. I am thinking of hanging the "ang chai" on the entrance door but I left it in SP. Not because I'm superstitious, just feel that it's a nice decor. My neighbor (in phase 1) hung it before (I saw that!). During my trip back to Malaysia, I had bought 2 small pineapples that will go to alfresco area/entrance ;)

What else to do? Ya, we plan to have steamboat on that day itself to celebrate our jolliest moment. Definitely, it will be the best day ever in my life in Australia.

Will I be taking any days off? I'm still thinking of.... Haven't even submitted the leave form yet!

Landscaping? We haven't decide which plant to go for (in front of our house)- Hydrangea or Bougainvillea?

More to come- Stay tuned!

Lucky Devil

As I mentioned earlier, we had bought some electrical appliances @ GoodGuy on 2 June 2011. Yesterday, we visited the store to just measure the refrigerator and found out there was a gap between bench-top and the fridge (5.5 inch). We then thought of swapping for a smaller one, however after consideration we decided to stick with the existing one.

On 24 June, again they are on sales and we noticed that the TV and washing machine we bought were on a tagged price too! Undeniable, I approached one of the sales for the tagged price. Guess what? I'll be paying AUD206 lesser than the exact amount I had to >,< Honestly, I don't mind to thicken my face when it comes to money, money money...

Toward The End V

Garage door is finally installed. There you go...

Not sure what is this yet! Controller... I guess.

Ours and neighbor's....

Orchard

Last Sunday, we visited one of the orchard in Perth..
Unfortunately, there is nothing much to see..
We were advised to visit the orchard in Mar or Apr.

The main reason is to get CHEAP fruits...
Guess what:
1KG of pink lady red apple is AUD2
1KG of persimmon is AUD1.50
1KG of granny smith green apple is AUD1

Though the skin might not look appealing but they taste good!
>,<

(Admission fees: AUD2.50 to the orchard)

Toward The End IV

Yesterday, Keng got me to flip an email to our builder regarding the leftover brick paves in the garage. Guess what, we're able to keep them up for our own use. How blessed we are, right?

To be frank, we still need to work out on 2.7m * 3.6m of the crossover (that need to pay upfront)
Now, we do not need to worry about the bricks as we'll be paying for the labor only!

Toward The End III

Someone was working on-site, we then took the opportunity to 'sneak-in' the house (with permission this time >,<). Here's the progress...

 The front view-
still need to work out with the crossover!

that's the en-suite-100% completed
(supposed to close the lid of the toilet)

kitchen area- 100% completed
fyi, table is white in color not green

中间人 Middleman

你曾当过"中间人"吗?
Have you ever been a middle man before?

我试过,感觉不好受...
更何况,他们是我要好的朋友
有点可惜
但我相信有一天, 我们会如往一样
因为我们是好朋友
I tried and I felt really bad
Furthermore, they're really my good friend....
It's pity
I believe one day, we'll just like the good old days
because we're good friend

那当然, 我也当过媒人
凑合一对男女朋友
Of course, I matched make couples too...
becoming so-called a 'middle-man'
haha..

不好意思,忽然有点感触
可能时间多了点
I'm sorry, all of sudden I felt so emotional
might be due to I have plenty time today

*@*@*@*@*

Just before I left, yesterday I bought 4 medium-size pillows to be placed it on the lounge...
Now I'm regret of choosing grey color the lounge
At first, I thought of having a dark color for the lounger- perhaps dark grey or black

Guess what, we'll be having sort of white painted on the wall
Besides, my TV unit and coffee table is all white
I can't make any changes anymore as the lounge is ready to dispatch
Now the only way to get back White-Black combination
is to put a black rug on the floor
Do you think, will take look better?

Progress Watcher

Here's the progress of the house in chart

* Due to the rain, there are certain job can't be carried out....
That's the reason, they have to skip and proceed with others!

Shopaholic?

Last Friday was my last day in Complaint Team.
Again, I'm back to queue on 20 June onward.
What will happen then? I can't tell....
Frankly, there is no certainty at all  to work in a call-center
I have a colleague who's in wireline now is going to cross skilled with unwelcome call and vice-versa
So, I might be going back to Complaint soon
or some new job might be awaiting me to grab...
Who KNOWS?

Let's just change our topic for today....

FYI, here comes the financial year end stock take
Everywhere is now on SALES.SALES.SALES

Nothing much to do @home...
Besides, we're thinking of getting some bar stools.
Therefore, we're heading to A-mart again!
Undeniable, we bought two of them and a coffee table

The coffee table is exactly the same as my dining table
It's a all WHITE with a little rough surface (not glossy type)
Supposedly, they are ALL IN ONE including TV unit, cupboard and etc..

Without second thought, hubby bought a new laptop. Running on AMD processor
Guess what? The price is much more cheaper than I expected

On the other hand, WII is on big bargain too
It's about AUD177 including one game
I did ask him to get one
Unfortunately, my request was declined :(
Anyway, that's not important at the time being.

Just wanna tell you that in summary, everything is on sales now!
just lucky that I'm not a shopaholic
or else definitely I will shop till drop!
kekek...

P/S: We're soon to submit our tax for 2010/2011 in July, I just can't wait to get some money back!
Yipee >,<

Toward The End II

Additional photos... (* We sneaked-in the house because it was unlocked on 15/6/2011)

so called "water-proof" socket and
that's our brick known as 'Hamelin'

Electrical testing is finally completed!

Toward The End

It's almost toward the end of construction (completed at about 85%)
I guess they still left:
- Painting
- Brick paving
- Electrical Testing
- Carpet and blind installing
- Cleaning-up

NOTES: Neighbor just left brick-paving process, they will be moving in earlier than us even we started the construction first! Honestly, I can't waiting for the inspection and handover....

Water heater system

That's the en-suite (still waiting for a closed bathing area)

This is the kitchen area (just a small one)
Still waiting for the cooktop(top) to be installed
It look weird (without putting the whole wall with tiles),right?
As they had charged AUD1200 for this 'look'
It will be very costly to put the whole wall with tiles
Thinking of DIY later  (* 1 tile=AUD44)

Mixed Feeling

From 20th June, I'm back to my nominal position again!
Foxtel on TBOX will be released on that day too..
Oh GOD

It's a pain now..

Furthermore, I'll be on a rotating shift..
:(

I wish I could just stay in COMPLAINTS Team

How do I feel?

Today, I'm incredibly high up in sky
feeling a little exciting, not because I won lotto or anything.

BECAUSE tomorrow I won't be calling the customer as
I'll be in the training room, attending refresher course for TBOX and THUB (8-4pm)
In truth, I love training a lot!
>,<

*@*@*@*@*@*

Finally, the solar heater was spoil
and I'm taking cold shower everyday
Even in this cold weather (6-19°C)
(for your knowledge, it's winter now! (June-Aug))

Can you imagine how cold the water is?
Just imagine when a monkey was thrown in the water
Haha..(I'm the monkey- kept 'dancing' in the bathroom)

*@*@*@*@*@*

Previously, I was on 3 THREE cap-plan and I'm paying AUD29/month for my mobile for 24 months
Now, I had changed to Vodafone PREPAID- Recharge 365
and of course, I still have my mobile no# remain
Nowadays, I'm using SKYPE to make outgoing calls to Malaysia * AUD0.03c/min for landlines, AUD0.084c/min for mobile and AUD0.13c/sms (unfortunately, I haven't activate to receive sms)

*@*@*@*@*@*

Going to bed now
Sweet dream
Zzzz.

6.28am. Cold. Dark.

It's still dark outside.
Hubby is still sleeping while I'm now totally re-charged, blogging in this freaking cold weather..
Waiting for '怒火街头'Ep 5- still in the progress of downloading! (a new TVB series)
Can't sleep now since I have used to wake up at this time, will have my nap later on.
I'm happy because AGAIN I'm on a break, Monday is Foundation Day (public holiday in WA)

Any plan for me? I'm thinking of getting some small appliances or should I just wait until the house is ready?
Perhaps, I might just wait as we have insufficient space for those stuffs.
Eventually, I will be staying at home! (I guess..)
How nice if I had moved in to my new house, right?

At 6.41am, I hear the bird chirping and crow crowing..
Life is so beautiful. Don't you think so?

Can't think of what to say
Have a lovely weekend

Contruction still going on III....

Here you go...

Ours and neighbor one..

Still working on the tiles...

That's the food storage

The table was still covered (supposed to be white one)
The empty area mainly for gas cook-top(top)
and electrical oven (below)

Still working on the bathroom & en-suite...

Today, we visited Good Guys in Cannington (an electrical shop) because they are on "end of financial stock take sales". We went there 2 weeks ago, as they are having 40% off for selected item. At that time, we had decided to buy them but not allow to keep stock for more than 6 weeks. At last, we bought them and keeping them in warehouse:
- A 9.5KG washing machine
- A 610L side by side refrigerator
- A 47" LED TV

Moving to a new house is a pain! You'll need to spend lot of $$$.
I just love new house. What to do?
LOL
