Awesome

My colleagues and I were  having lunch in pantry the other day and I was chatting with this Indian lady ~Indhu and I told her I'm able to speak her language ~ "me tumse pyar kar te hum" ~ she was like so shocked!

Then there was another 2 Indian guy ~ Sahil and Sri (sitting opposite us) were so curious about it and he started asked me what I've done to Indhu?

Indhu exclaimed that definitely you guys would be laughing out loud if Lee would say that to you! She added: "Are you sure you wanna know that?"

Sahil replied: "Ya, just tell me ~ see how am I going to re-act!"

I told him ~ you have to listen to me carefully "ME TUMSE PYAR KAR TE HUM"

He did nothing  Just grinning from ear to ear! So sweet ;)

Did you guys wann guess what I had actually told them?

L1vs. L3

In Malaysia, I was working on L3 support which I normally tackled the problem through face-to-face! The computer is entirely under my controlled ~ basically, I knew what is the next step I'm going to take.

Now, I'm totally into a brand-new environment which only utilizing my mouth and knowledge to resolve the issue. Hehehe....of courses, at a certain point, I'm kinda proud of myself! ;) Especially those involving Outlook/OE ~ because I'm into these products for more than 5 year.

Honestly speaking, my experiences accumulated from Malaysia helped a lot! The only problem I now encounter is the tactic of interacting with the customer~ They have heaps of "grandmother stories" before getting into the MAIN POINT and you'll just get "Ya", "Yup", "Oooo", "OK"from me! I'm a STRAIGHT-FORWARDED person ("si pan" in "hokkien") - that's why sometimes, I'm not able to cope with the customers! Some of my colleagues could even joke with the customer over the phone ~ GOSH! Help me ~ how am I going to do?

Once I had asked myself whether I should carry on with the job or give up?  My heart tells me that I'm should work this out- definitely I'm able to handle them well day by day

*IMPORTANT NOTE: To those who wish/think of giving up, NEVER EVER DO THAT~ there's is always high and low in our life ~ With your perseverance and determination , there is nothing that will beat you up! Cheers

Have a wonderful night and a lovely weekend!

Continue....from previous blog

Now only I noticed that working in Level 1 support is totally different from Level 3 (face-to-face)....
~*~*~

I'm now in a team, troubleshooting through calls and it's driving me NUTS! Frankly speaking, there are customers whose are really nice and polite however, some of them are really making me heart-ache! Today, I received a call from this particular lady- telling me that she wish to hook up a laptop to access the Internet by sharing of Internet (to the main PC which is available for Internet Access). And I got this information from my superior saying that we're not supporting this type of case~I told her exactly what I've been told!

I would like share with you part of my conversation between the lady and I:
Lady: " It's ridiculous, my tech guy get me to call you regarding  the DHCP setting and now you're telling me that you're not able to help me up!"
" I've been telling you what I've got from my superior ~and I'm just passing you the information!" I exclaimed.

Lady: " I don't want to talk to you. Get your superior to talk to me,I'm getting frustrated with you!"
I: "Do you mind to hold for a sec?I'll get him to talk to you. Thank"

At last, Nic helped me to resolve that! She WON the war, did you know that? Finally, she got a free upgrade of her existing modem to a better speed modem!

What could I say? Zzzz.......

The Ch'ng...

The car belongs to a friend of mine... (my model!)

The Ch'ng generation...(from left to right) Jia, Zhe and Ning! (Note: My little friends in Australia)

Pop Corn

Interested in making your own pop-corn?

What you need is the butter, sugar and corn-kernel where you could purchase them from the supermarket!

Pour them into a saucepan (without oil) over medium heat. (Stir them to avoid over-cooked!)
When one of the corn starts popping, cover with a lid and shake the saucepan gently. (Note: The rest of the corns shall continue popping)
Remove from heat temporary when corn stop popping.
Whisk the butter and sugar(and/or honey) to the popping corn. (Note: Ratio of butter and sugar is depends on individual preferences)
Stir until the pop-corn is coated.
Transfer them into a tray or bowl. Set aside to cool. Serve.

Honestly speaking, this is the best snack ever! Besides, it only takes about 10~20 minutes to cook.

P/S: Thanks to SH Lau for the perfect recipe. ;)
